Training and advancement opportunities

Our comprehensive training program includes clearly established goals for all Black Gold employees. We provide both internal and external training opportunities to help them reach these goals. Internal training programs are designed to give our employees the skills and knowledge needed to perform their specific Black Gold job functions, but we also encourage employees to participate in external training programs that provide them with more general job development training and industry insight.

Employee profile

Black Gold strives to employ quality people and takes pride in the fact that we have many long-term employees. The Black Gold team includes farm managers, agronomists, farm technicians and office assistants in locations across the country. Qualifications for each type of job vary—ranging from high school diplomas to associate and bachelor’s degrees or higher. Through our practice of ongoing training, employees are continually being developed to take on new responsibilities and are often promoted within the company.
